One of the most powerful lobbies, the pharmaceutical drugs lobby, when it supports those running for public office there is one politico they treasure the most: USA Senate Majority head, Harry Reid, (D/NV). Also this USA Senator is the most targeted by the GOP for defeat come this November, as Sharon Angle is Senator Reids challenger. But the pharmaceutical drugs lobby is pouring support to Sen. www.LibertyJuice.com This particular article disgusted and infuriated me. Dr. John Holdren, Obamas Science Czar, told those gathered at an AAAS (American Association for the Advancement of Science) meeting that, America cant expect to be number one in everything indefinitely. Then he went on to say that it wasnt purely bad that other countries were beginning to make gains on us. President Obama obviously faces a dilemma: either he keeps the campaign promise he made to voters or he keep his later promise to drug companies. Passing the proposed drug...

WASHINGTON The Food and Drug Administration has allowed drugs for cancer and other diseases to stay on the market even when follow-up studies showed they didn't extend patients' lives, say congressional investigators. A report due out Monday from the Government Accountability Office also shows that the FDA has never pulled a drug off the market due to a lack of required follow-up about its actual benefits even when such information is more than a decade overdue.
